The service we have received from the Carter Construction team has been flawless throughout! From the first day we met Daniel, he immediately made us feel at ease with what for us, would be one of the biggest projects we would ever probably undertake. It’s an extremely daunting thing to do and when you hear the horror stories, you immediately start on the negative but this very quickly turned around when Daniel came around to discuss what it was we would like to do and how we would achieve this. We felt that we were wasting a lot of Daniels time with the queries, calls outs to discuss things, but it honestly wasn’t an issue for Daniel at all. He isn’t exactly local to us, but it didn’t matter as he was always happy to attend the house and help! We did get other quotes however there was something about Daniel that made us feel like he wanted to help us and give us our dream kitchen, dining and living space. When the extension started, we were obviously nervous but Daniel quickly reassured us that there was nothing to be concerned about and that he was here for us. Daniel was always on hand to assist us to understand what was going on and when. Although Daniel was not always onsite, he was always available to answer our queries and explain things to us. There were a few complications that we faced when the build got to foundation levels. Daniel had pre wanted us that some unexpected issues may arise but we didn’t expect what he found with the drainage that the developers had laid. Daniel did everything to help with this and sorted the issues out, without complaint. It was refreshing to have solutions to issues rather than just problems being thrown at us and as you can imagine, it was a scary time as we hadn’t truly anticipated any issues cropping up. As time went on, we became more and more at ease with the whole process to the point Daniel had keys to our house and we just let him get on and to his timetable (albeit we were probably horrendous and needy clients). All we can say is the whole Carter Construction team have been amazing from start to finish. We would absolutely recommend them to everyone and actually have done many times. Great company, great people. Oh ….. and they take coffee, one sugar!

Dan and Carter construction recently undertook a full width extension on the back of my property creating a new multi use open-plan kitchen and social area. Cartet construction were quick and professional company throughout the build completing the work to a very high standard. I am extremely happy with the service and the build and would recommend them as a very good building service. I have included some photos of the finished product inside and out.

“I thought Dan was dead canny, easy to talk to, communication was good, he was always here when he said he would be and if he couldn’t make it he let me know ahead of time so i basically never had to chase him. The building inspector was impressed with the quality of the brickwork, he said it was the neatest pointing he had ever seen, I’m no builder but the brickwork on the extension is neater than the rest of our house”
